Why was it so fucking hard to get in through a window? Damnit, she always got herself into these types of situations. She was stuck and it didn't look as if she was going to become unstuck anytime soon. The tiny window in the equipment room was not easy to wiggle through, even if you were as small as Quinn. All she wanted was some peace at the recording studio but that was a hassle every night. Being a ninja was not easy so kiddies please don't try that at home. She pulled herself forward onto a bunch of cases that where sitting beneath the window. Something wobbled and fell over which probably wasn't a good sign. Equipment was not cheap. "Shit." she whined as she finally catapulted herself through the window. She hit the floor with a thud and knocked over a few more cases filled with musical instruments. "Jesus Christ." She swore as she rolled over onto her back. Quinn pulled herself up and fumbled against the wall in search of the light switch. Ah, there it was. She squinted at the mess she had made because her eyes were still adjusting to the light. She picked up a guitar case she had knocked over and a small speaker. She thanked the sweet baby Jesus that she didn't break anything. Quinn didn't have the money to replace anything she would have broken. She was also glad she didn't have to deal with Vesper's wrath about it either. He was already annoyed these days because the band couldn't hold it together. Not her fault entirely, though. Nash was just as much at fault for their loss of concentration. Sometimes she couldn't stand being in the same room as him, simply because he always digging around under her skin. He knew her too well and knew exactly when she was putting up a front which was ninety nine point nine percent of the time. He definitely wasn't afraid to call her out on it and it pissed her off beyond belief, hence why they couldn't produce anything worthy.
Quinn carefully tip toed out of the equipment and down the hallway. The janitor was making his last rounds which meant once he was finished she would be completely alone, just the way she liked it. She made her way back to the room and unlocked her guitar case. Acoustic was what she loved working with because it was simple. She kicked the case shut and dragged it over to the folding chair she sat down on. In her hand she held three very crumpled pages of music and a lyric sheet she had pulled out of her pocket. Between her teeth happened to be a pencil she pulled from out of her ponytail. The gal came totally prepared. She wasn't going to let her creative block ruin her only shot at making it in the music business. Her entire dream and career was sitting on this album. Being signed was only step one in the long journey of getting somewhere. The band needed a killer album and that just didn't seem to be happening. Everyone was frustrated including herself. She was frustrated for a number of reasons. One being Nash, the other her life. She was letting Nash get the best of her and she was trusting him. I mean, she had always trusted him in a way but after what happened with the last guy she cut herself off from people. Sure, Nash had been her friend for a while but that didn't mean she trusted him romantically. He wanted more than friends or even friends with benefits and she couldn't come through with that. She knew that and yet here she was leading him on and making him think that she could do this.
